Abstract

This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical significance of the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach in teaching English. The study analyzes the main principles of CLIL, including the integration of content and language learning, the development of communicative competence, critical thinking, and intercultural awareness. Special attention is given to the advantages, challenges, and methodological features of CLIL implementation in modern educational contexts. The article also highlights the role of authentic materials, interactive activities, and digital technologies in improving students’ language proficiency and academic performance.
