Abstract

This article discusses modern strategies for improving students’ speaking fluency in English as a Foreign Language classrooms. Speaking fluency is one of the most important skills in language learning because students need to express ideas clearly, confidently, and naturally in real communication. The article highlights communicative activities, pair and group work, role-play, discussions, task-based learning, storytelling, digital tools, and regular feedback as effective ways of developing fluency. It also emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive classroom atmosphere where learners are not afraid of making mistakes. The article concludes that fluency can be improved through continuous practice, meaningful interaction, and learner-centered teaching methods.
