The Role Of Feedback In Improving Language Learning Outcomes

This article discusses the role of feedback in improving language learning outcomes. Feedback is an essential part of foreign language teaching because it helps students understand their strengths, identify mistakes, and improve their language skills. In English language classes, effective feedback supports the development of speaking, writing, reading, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. The article highlights teacher feedback, peer feedback, self-assessment, formative feedback, oral feedback, written feedback, and digital feedback as important tools in the learning process. It also emphasizes that feedback should be clear, constructive, timely, and encouraging. The article concludes that well-organized feedback increases students’ motivation, confidence, learner autonomy, and academic achievement.
